Day 8: I lost 4.4 kg!

This is it, judgment day! The result of my weigh-in would determine my motivation for pushing through with Keto. I took my bulletproof coffee with me to work, went straight to the office clinic, and stepped on the weighing scale.

Drum roll…

I LOST 9.7 LBS / 4.4 KG in a WEEK!!!

I was jumping with joy inside when I saw the numbers on the weighing scale stop at 167.3 lbs. This week was totally worth it. As you can see on the screenshot, my “goal” was just to lose 1.5 lbs per week, but this was just too much! I’ve read a lot of these success stories on the internet about how big of a weight loss one gets during the first week or two. Experiencing that personally makes it REAL.

This only motivates me to push further and get to my goal of 125 lbs (or as close to that as possible) in a year’s time. I don’t know if that’s reasonable but we’ll get there!

Some changes

As the first week is done, I don’t think I will be able to continue with the daily Keto blog – so I’ll make it a weekly update instead. Also, for this week, I’m planning to eat more vegetables for nutrients and fiber, since I didn’t get to do this much on the first week. I’ll also be exploring some recipes, and restaurants that serve Keto-friendly food and will post about those as they happen.
