2018.09.15 – 土曜日 (Saturday)

Saturday is here and for a change, I stayed out for most of the day. Well, outside the house, but inside a mall because it was still raining like crazy outside. I just chilled at the newly renovated Powerplant Mall in Rockwell with Ralph and Ivan. We had late lunch/early dinner at Sumosam after so much indecisiveness. If they picked Ippudo, I would have cheated on my Keto diet and ordered a ramen, but they didn’t so I was saved.

After lunch, they went off to watch The Nun. I hate horror movies and I have zero plans of watching one on the big screen. I can’t be having nightmares for at least a month so I am staying out of that. Uniqlo had a “reopening” sale so I bought 2 pairs of pants that finally fit me (yehey), and then I hung out at Starbucks and played Octopath until the movie was over.

Octopath + SB, perfect way to chill

After this, on the way to the parking, we passed by True Value where Ivan ended up buying his dream vacuum cleaner (yes, the expensive one) and we couldn’t do anything to stop him. I bought a low table for my room since I’m planning to make it feel more minimalistic, like a Japanese-style bedroom. I will be posting photos of that after I clean-up and rearrange my things!

I’m sorry for the selfie here, but for those who have been following my Ketogenic diet journey, I’m so happy that this shirt finally fits. This was given to me by a friend but I never got to wear it ever. I saw it in the closet, tried it, and surprised myself! I always say that I still have a long way to go to get to my goal weight but progress, no matter how slow or little, has to be celebrated, once in a while! So, yes, selfie! Haha.

今日の言葉: Word of the day

So, I’ll start with the days of the week for my Japanese post titles. Saturday in Japanese is 土曜日, pronounced (do-you-bi). The “do” (土) stands for Earth/Land. Japanese days are named after elements or celestial bodies, and you’ll learn more about them in future posts!
