#Laiya with BP&A and Bisdaks

A chance to go to the beach came and I had to grab it! Gil and his F1 friends were planning for a day trip to Virgin Beach in Laiya, and extended the invite to us. The last time I’ve been to Laiya was September of last year – the same time Pacquiao had a fight and lost. Fortunately, he won this time around! Hehe.

Going back, we left Makati at 6:30 and got to Laiya a little past 9:30.

It was a little cloudy on the way there, but thank goodness the weather was perfect!

Our visitors from Newcastle immediately hit the beach for a tan. We stayed in our cottages. The difference between white people and Filipinos. Haha.

We played different card games, had barbecue for lunch, and had some beer while enjoying the view!

We finally went swimming at around 3:45, when the sun wasn’t as strong. I was a little disappointed at how the waters were dirtier than the last time. Not because of trash, don’t misunderstand – but because of some algae and stuff we jokingly called planktons. Haha. Might be due to the season. But I’m not so sure. September last year, the waters were as clear as Boracay! Still, we searched for a cleaner portion of the sea and swam for an hour or so.

At around 5:30, it was time to pack up and leave. This lovely sunset greeted me goodbye!
