#TBT: Hunter X Hunter OSTs

I am grateful for the Hunter X Hunter 2011 remake. But, what really made Hunter X Hunter special to me back then were the songs that played during the start and at the end of each episode. I even printed out lyrics and memorized them by heart. So, for today’s ThrowBack Thursday – here are my favorite Hunter X Hunter songs from the original series (and OAVs).

All Hunter X Hunter Opening Themes:

Too bad there is no compiled video for the Ending Themes!

Here are the full version of my favorite HXH songs – I tried to look for the official video, or at least videos that showed the full song, with their artists.

Keno – Ohayou

Who doesn’t know this song? Every HXH fan will at least know this song because of the catchy melody. This is also the first Opening song of the series so even those starting out will already get hooked to this song.

Kenichi Kurosawa – Pale Ale

I love how this song sounds so dark and so light at the same time! I like the beat, and I like Kenichi Kurosawa’s way of singing. Which is also the reason why I like the next song.

Kenichi Kurosawa – Carry On

This song is the sunlight after the storm for me. Haha. I don’t know why that picture comes into mind each time I hear the intro of the song.

Nagai Masato – Ezyan (Do You Feel Like I Feel)

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evuCQ2ux6sc]

Wanna stay, wanna go, do you, do you, do you feel like I feel? I feel that this is the 2nd most popular HXH song…or that’s just my opinion.

But…my favorite song of all time is none other than……..

WINO – Taiyou wa Yoru mo Kagayaku

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eDodePn5co]

The sun also shines at night. Haha. Or something like that. I love the emotion in the song, the falsetto and the shouting towards the end, and how I feel heavy when I sing it. Haha. Too emotional. But, like Carry On, there’s a light at the end of the song. *Insert Tears*

That’s it! Hope you enjoyed the quick trip down memory lane…at least if you are a Hunter X Hunter fan. I did! XD
