This will be short because I am sleepy already.

It was a long day at the office – partly because I had a spontaneous catch-up dinner with Debbie and Jolo. We dined at the new branch of Pho Hoa/My Thai, located at the ground floor of our office building! As can be deduced from the name, they serve both Vietnamese and Thai food. Everything we ordered was good! But there were only three of us so we had to hold back a bit! Haha. Also, I feel a bit guilty about my diet restricting those who eat out with me. Although I try to insist that they don’t think about me, I guess people can’t help but be conscious about it still. Anyhow, it was a great dinner and we talked a lot about how work is and some plans for the future (LOL).

After dinner, we had desserts at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Bistro. I had a bit of the guiltless chocolate cake (2 bites), and cold brew coffee (my third coffee of the day). We continued our catch up and as much as I would have loved to continue chatting, they still had work to go back to so we went back to the office at around 8:30.

I hope we get to do this more often, not just once in a blue moon! Maybe even go for happy hour next? We also missed the rest of our old teammates!
